Tonga to copy El Salvador bill making bitcoin legal tender, says ex-MP

Another domino is lined up to fall on the road to Bitcoinization. On Wednesday, a former lawmaker from the Pacific island nation of Tonga shared a detailed approach to adoption (BTC) as legal tender.

In a series of tweets, Lord Fusitu’a, former MP for Tonga, published an ETA for Bitcoin to be legal tender in Tonga. To copy The El Salvador Playbook, the move could integrate more than 100,000 Tongans on the Bitcoin network.
