Police blotter – June 10

ARRESTS – A 21-year-old man was arrested at 1:56 a.m. on Monday on a felony arrest warrant, two counts of fifth-degree drug possession, fourth-degree drunk driving and safe driving permit valid during a roadside check on the 100 block of first avenue northeast.

A 26-year-old man was arrested Monday at 1:08 a.m. for fourth degree DWI during a traffic check on highways 371 and 210.

A 66-year-old man was arrested at 6:41 p.m. on Sunday on two misdemeanor warrants following domestic disturbances in block 500 of C Street.

A 26-year-old woman was arrested at 10:11 p.m. on Sunday for interfering with a 911 call and the offenses of assault, disorderly driving and driving after suspension following a report of a physical dispute on the 2200 block of Breilly Court.

A 36-year-old man was arrested at 11:18 p.m. for a felony of domestic violence – violating a no-contact order and obstructing legal proceedings in Block 900 of 19 South East Street.

A 22-year-old man was arrested at 7:42 p.m. on Saturday for the felony of fleeing from officers in a vehicle, reckless driving and speeding on Excelsior Road Baxter.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested at 5:51 a.m. on Saturday for giving police officers a false name and a warrant for selling third degree drugs following a report of a suspicious vehicle in Block 1200 of South Sixth Street.

A 44-year-old man was arrested at 7:30 p.m. on Friday for fourth degree DWI following a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of Washington Street.

A 36-year-old man was arrested at 9:55 a.m. on Friday for second-degree assault, uttering threats of violence, fifth-degree assault and a warrant over domestic unrest in the 1300 block of Oak Street.

DISTURBANCES – 6:14 p.m. Sunday report of a miner trying to smash a window on the 1400 block of Laurel Street. The juvenile was arrested on two counts of fifth degree assault, fourth degree property damage and disorderly conduct.

Report at 12:22 am Saturday of a possible household disturbance on the 300 block of North Seventh Street.

Report at 9:14 p.m. Friday of a domestic disturbance on the 2200 block of Breilly Court. Officers learned that it was only a verbal argument and those involved agreed to go their separate ways.

Report at 2:51 p.m. Friday of a domestic disturbance on the 14000 block of Beaver Dam Road.

12:19 p.m. Friday report of a verbal marital dispute on the 300 block of North Seventh Street.

Breezy Point Police

DISRUPTIONS – Report at 7:48 p.m. Sunday of a verbal argument between two brothers on the 30,000 block of Clubhouse Lane. The brothers were separated when the police arrived and they were packing their bags to go home.

Report at 1:59 a.m. Sunday of a family dispute on the 30,000 block of North Lakeview Drive. The complainant did not wish to lay charges.

Report at 5:33 p.m. Saturday from a Charter contractor who drove to a high-speed campground and argued with the plaintiff when he was confronted with the 11000 block of County Highway 39 Old Crow Wing.

THEFT – Report a theft from a boat on June 4 at Breezy Point Resort, 9201 Breezy Point Drive. The Lodge Apartment Association reported the theft to the resort, who provided police with a description of the vehicle. The police did not locate the vehicle.

Report the theft of a backpack from a Jeep on June 1 in the Dockside parking lot, 9252 Breezy Point Drive.

ASSIST – 9:39 PM report on June 3 of a bucket that fell from a skid steer loader and trapped a man inside the 7300 block of County Road 11. The man feared he might be there. ‘crushes if he tries to move. The police managed to remove the bucket from the skid steer loader, freeing it.

SUSPECT – 12:30 a.m. June 1 caller report hearing someone attempting to open a side door on the 32000 block of Peony Lane. The police could not locate anyone.

Pequot Lakes Police

ARRESTS – A 41-year-old woman was arrested at 4:31 p.m. on June 3 on warrant following a report of suspicious activity in Jenkins.

SUSPECT – Complainant’s report at 7:36 p.m. on June 1 stating that there was a dead squirrel in her washroom and that she believes someone entered her residence while she was on Cullen Cove Road.

DISTURBANCE – Report at 1:45 a.m. on May 30 of marital disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend on Pequot Boulevard.
