It’s been a mixed weekend for Rovers players who are currently on loan to other teams.
We’ll start in Sky Bet League One, where Hayden Carter found the net again in Burton Albion’s eye-catching victory over Peterborough United at Pirelli Stadium.
Carter flew home just before the hour mark in Staffordshire after Kane Hemmings gave hosts Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink the lead four minutes earlier.
Although Harrison Burrows struck out a goal in the dying seconds, it didn’t impact Carter or Burton’s mood as the full-time whistle came in.
The result, which was their fourth consecutive victory, puts the Brewers four points ahead of the relegation zone at tier three.
Carter has been in sensational form for Hasselbaink’s men, who have won seven of the nine games he has appeared in.
Carter’s display also ensured that he was named to the Sky Bet League One Team of the Week.

He has found the net twice and is part of a team that has kept five white cages since his time at Albion.
The young defender will be hoping to help his side continue their winning streak when they travel to AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday night.
Elsewhere in the division, Harry Pickering and Harry Chapman were disappointed.
Pickering played the full 90 minutes as Crewe Alexandra suffered a 3-0 loss to Lincoln City from Michael Appleton at Sincil Bank.
Chapman appeared for 76 minutes as Shrewsbury Town suffered a 2-0 home loss to Fleetwood Town.
There was no Charlie Mulgrew on the Fleetwood team on his 35th birthday.
Crewe hosts the Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday night, while Shrewsbury heads to Rochdale and Fleetwood hosts Steve Evans’s Gillingham at Highbury Stadium the same evening.
To round out League One, Joe Grayson was an unused Oxford United substitute in their 0-0 home draw with Charlton Athletic, while Jack Vale was not named to Rochdale’s squad in their 2 loss. -0 against Sunderland at Stadium of Light. .
Grayson is hoping for a local derby the next time Karl Robinson’s U visit Swindon Town midweek.
Like Vale, Brad Lyons also didn’t feature as top-flight Morecambe grabbing another great win over Carlisle United in Sky Bet League Two.
Outside the league, Tom White was not part of the Hartlepool United squad as Dave Challinor’s men scored the points in their top-of-the-table clash at Torquay United in the National League.
However, there was a lot to be encouraged for Tyler Magloire and Motherwell north of the border.
The 22-year-old defender was on the winning side as Graham Alexander’s side edged out Livingston.
Magloire played the entire game as Motherwell claimed back-to-back Scottish Premiership wins thanks to the 3-1 victory.
Elsewhere in Scotland, Joe Hilton took on the unused substitute role and won a vital 3-2 home triumph over Kilmarnock.
