BRAINERD – Crow Wing County offers land use information workshop regarding land use permit regulations, requirements, grant opportunities, proposed ordinance revisions, system map training geographic information and more.
The workshop is intended for Crow Wing County residents and contractors working around county lakes, but all are welcome. The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on March 30 at the Crow Wing County Land Services Building at 322 Laurel St. in Brainerd.
“This workshop is an opportunity to learn and understand the rules and regulations pertaining to property development and improvements in Crow Wing County,” said Jake Frie, Environmental Services Supervisor, in a press release. .
The county’s land use ordinance is designed to achieve measurable results in maintaining healthy lakes. Site-specific performance standards such as stormwater management, vegetated buffers, and septic tank maintenance are part of the county ordinance requirements.
