Binance Completes Acquisition Of Swipe, Preparing For CEO Exit By Cointelegraph


Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, announcement On Thursday, it will acquire the remaining outstanding shares of Swipe, a major provider of Visa crypto cards (NYSE :). Binance users will be able to spend their coins in over 70 million locations worldwide through the acquisition.

On July 6, 2020, Binance initially announced the purchase of a majority stake in Swipe, saying the new collaboration would help advance cryptocurrency adoption by connecting fiat and digital assets. Binance’s acquisition of Swipe will allow it to compete with other cryptocurrency providers such as PayPal (NASDAQ 🙂 and Mastercard (NYSE 🙂 which provide similar cryptocurrency-related services.
