CAMBRIDGE — Tyler Seeling scored a hat trick and Northern Lakes Lighting used a first-half flurry to defeat Cambridge-Isanti 4-2 in a non-conference game on Saturday, February 5.
Darby Boelter put the Lightning on the board at 1:09 of the first period and Seeling followed that up with two goals to take it 3-0 after the first period.
Seeling scored his third goal in the second period.
Christian Crutcher, Taylor Berg and Colton Craig have registered assists.
North Lakes goaltender Nigel DeSanto made 24 saves.

RED LAKE FALLS — It was too much Evan Girdler and too many power plays for Red Lake Falls as Wadena-Deer Creek was shut out 6-0 in a non-conference game on Saturday, Feb. 6.
The Eagles’ Girdler scored one goal and assisted five more and Red Lake Falls took a 3-0 lead on three power-play goals in the first period.
Gunner Olson racked up 36 saves for the Wolverines who fell to 13-11 on aggregate.
